Mindfulness is a focus on the power of being “present” and how to “respond” rather than “react” to our bodies “fight or flight” response. Take a walk whether it be to the mailbox, down the block, around your office building. While you are outside, try to connect to your thoughts mindfully and take meaningful breaths.
